From a winemaker’s perspective, Sangiovese is just fun to make because it created such site specific wines. Here you'll find rustic aromas of earth, wild strawberry, and sour cherry, with subtle light spice, perfume, and minerality. It has a dried, red-fruit profile, and a mouthfeel of tight, dry tannins. This is one of three Sangios designated for the Site Archive series, all of which are perfect expressions of the vineyard sites they come from.
